Our expansive constellation of tech partners continues to grow bigger and brighter. Please welcome Codeus — a unique and passionate tech company whose team is carefully composed of dazzling individuals; including talented developers, managers, and marketing experts.
Time to meet today’s star, the Tech Lead - PHP at Codeus, Borislav!
I started working for Codeus at the very beginning. I was among a few other developers. It was a great opportunity for me, considering that I was still a student.
It was a huge treat working with senior developers, and I'm still grateful for the things I learned from them.
Fast forward a few years, I gained enough knowledge and expertise to work on challenging projects and to mentor other junior and middle PHP developers.

I'm 100% a sports person. Besides being a part of a basketball league, I like to spend my free time watching sports, either live or on TV.
I'm a huge Red Star fan, so I better not miss their matches.
Apart from being occupied with sports, which I believe allows me to keep the perfect work-life balance, another thing that's quite important to me is music.
Be it at work or outside of work, music is the one helping me stay focused, productive, and energetic.
One meal - fish soup + sarma (the most famous Serbian meal - cabbage rolls with minced meat) + cheesecake.
I had a chance to give this advice more than a couple of times already. And what I always say is that Codeus is a place with the healthiest working environment I've ever seen. Everyone here is cooperative and keen to help, no matter what expertise we are talking about.
So If you are looking to join Codeus, I advise you to be open-minded, free to ask for help at anytime, and willing to help others.
I am working as a full time backend developer on NodeJs project, with other guys from company. Since I'm the team lead on the project, I need to be open for all questions that my colleagues or other developers involved in this project have.
Also, as a php tech lead and lead of mentorship program I need to help and be there for other developers that I'm responsible for.
Furthermore, one of my responsibilities is being up to date with new trends and technologies.
At the age of ten, I was a math lover. I participated in every math competition you can possibly imagine. That's probably why I ended up as an engineer, anyway.
Also, I started playing chess when I was ten, and it's still one of my favorite activities.
