Onboarding Pangea is a 3-step, 4-6 week process that verifies the internal universe of employees, the external universe of clients and validates documentation of key metrics and KPIs against industry benchmarks.
Pangea demands an onboarding and annual verification fee that limit fraudulent vendors to enter Pangea. Even if they pay the fee, meeting stringent industry benchmarks across all aspects is challenging unless a vendor has all their ducks in a row.
Hence, unserious and unhealthy vendors are disincentivized as they will not meet the stringent industry benchmarks, and hence, it is a counterproductive exercise to pay and spend time on onboarding whilst having ongoing evaluations to adhere to.
Short-description of the 3-step process below:
1) Complete Team Vibe with satisfactory Team Health score and 75% participation rate or higher.
2) Attain a minimum of 5 client references that completes the Pangea Client Experience Survey with satisfactory client score.
3) Complete the vendor profile with proven data points that are validated by documentation verified by human exerts within the Pangea team.
If the data attained meets the avg. industry benchmark or higher, the vendor is welcomed to Pangea. If not, the vendor is given a time period to improve.
Team Health is measured through a proprietary Pangea product called Team Vibe.
Team Vibe is a survey sent to each team member of a vendor organization to measure sentiment around 8 key segments:
Satisfaction, Personal Growth, Peers Rapport, Management rapport, Culture, Well-being, Feedback & recognition and Advocacy.
Each segment will be assigned a score and an overall Team Health score will be derived. A minimum of 75% participation rate is expected, and for reference, the average participation rate at status quo is 83.2%.
Team Vibe is sent twice a year to a given vendor.
Based on the average of the respective scores in the 8 segments: Satisfaction, Personal Growth, Peers Rapport, Management rapport, Culture, Well-being, Feedback & recognition and Advocacy.
Taking a step back, the scores for said segments are computed based on a proprietary Pangea.ai algorithm (beta) that lays to ground the employee input & sentiment derived from Team Vibe.
Client Experience is measured by sending a minimum of 5 active clients from the past 6 months a survey proprietary to Pangea to retrieve scores for 8 key segments:
Customer Journey, UI/UX Design, Project Management, Technical Expertise, Quality Assurance, Documentation Level, Business Maturity and Process Maturity.
Each segment will be assigned a score and the Client score will be derived.
The client experience survey is sent twice a year.
Based on the average of the respective scores in the 8 segments: Customer Journey, UI/UX Design, Project Management, Technical Expertise, Quality Assurance, Documentation Level, Business Maturity and Process Maturity.
Taking a step back, the scores for said segments are computed based on a proprietary Pangea.ai algorithm (beta) that lays to ground the client input & sentiment derived from client experience surveys.
The average of the team health and client score derives the Pangea Score.
Pangea is committed to supporting healthy vendors, and healthy vendors only.
Meaning that vendors will be given a minimum team health score target to meet when completing Team Vibe. If unsuccessful in meeting the target score, the vendor will be notified as ineligible for Pangea at that particular moment in time. A timeframe will be given for when the said vendor can unlock Team Vibe again to try again.
Vendors are obliged to trigger team vibe every 6-month to keep the team health scores of the organization up to date. Team vibe is a deep organizational analysis. Data shows that every 6 months, fluctuations worth capturing occur to the Team Health sentiment of the employees. Team health scores must meet industry benchmarks to continue to be part of the Pangea universe of healthy vendors.
Periodically, there is a documentation request to update key data points, metrics and KPIs shared on the Pangea which in turn are verified by the human experts at the Pangea.ai team.
Vendors are encouraged to trigger client experience surveys to client references on an ongoing basis. Decision-makers and buyers of software engineering service have a keen eye for the topic and value previous and current clients sharing their experiences as it is a sign of trust and boosts credibility.

No personally identifiable information (PII) will be disclosed to vendors unless you give explicit consent in the vent of shortlisting or engaging a vendor on Pangea.

Based on your input in the mini-brief, or the filter values, we follow the following 2-step logic to showcase vendors:

Step 2: Based on the vendor results in step 1, we order the vendor results by relevance by searching for user/vendors matches that include, but not limited to:
- Top services, all tech stack, top domains and top industries

The shortlist feature on the vendor profiles is there to help you make a short and crisp list of up to 3 best-fit vendors - you can not shortlist more than 3 vendors.
The shortlisted vendors can always be found in the shortlist view and the vendor profile card will have a visible mark.
Once you shortlist a vendor, they will be notified without disclosing any personally identifiable information about you.
At any point in time, you can choose to remove the shortlist tag from a given vendor.
The engage feature will allow you to meet any vendor with a click of a button. There are no maximum or minimum vendors that you can meet.
Once you click engage, you will be introduced shortly thereafter to the right stakeholders of the respective vendor over e-mail. At that point, with your consent, we will share personally identifiable information and engagement details to facilitate a productive exchange.
The first step subsequent to the introduction is a first call, and from that point forward, you advance the discussions independently of Panga.
The purpose of the smart-brief is to gather engagement (project) requirements that go beyond the mini-brief and the filter options to present the best-fit vendor recommendations.
The smart brief will ask dynamic questions based on the engagement model and trigger the applications & recommendation process.
You are always encouraged to submit a smart-brief as it is a powerful tool to engage the perfect-fit vendor.
Once a business user submits a smart brief, the Pangea team will qualify and forward the smart brief to the vendor universe with no personally identifiable information, but all the engagement requirements i.e. engagement model, tech stack, services etc. will be shared. The vendor universe can then apply for the engagement and answer key questions related to the engagement.
The Pangea team then analysis the applications of the vendors and manually shortlists the three most suitable vendors for the business user and its specific needs.
The user then receives an email notification with a link to view the "Recommendations" on Pangea, where she or he can compare the 3 applications and is asked to either:
- Accept an application
If accepted, a direct email introduction is made from Pangea to the user and the respective selected team.
- Decline an application
If declined, the user is asked to provide quick feedback to the vendor on how they can improve.
The user is asked to react (accept/decline) to all applications prior to being eligible to take any other actions at Pangea as that is only fair when the vendor universe have invested time to submit applications.
Our ultimate goal is to match you with a perfect-fit vendor and after an internal debrief with Pangea experts after you decline all recommended vendors, we will contact you within 3 working hours to propose possible solutions to ensure satisfaction and progress in your journey to engage the perfect-fit vendor.
