Our company founders are heavily implicated in the local and regional IT community and through this we have managed to become a pillar in the market and a go-to place for outstanding individuals. We have a completely open and transparent company where everything is on the table, and we encourage everyone to think as one. This enabled us to trust and empower each other and learn from the people around us. Coming to work is about being part of an amazing collective of individuals that surely put in the effort where the effort is due, but also know when and how to have a good laugh.
Time to meet the Full Stack developer at Strongbytes, Codrin!
Before I joined Strongbytes, I worked for a big, multinational company, where all the decisions had to go through the management chain. I chose this company looking for more flexibility and quicker decision-making. I know most of my colleagues from before, so I knew I made the right choice. And even though we grew as a company, the things that brought me here are still there.
The formal one
I like to keep myself busy at all times, so I have picked up quite a lot of hobbies/activities - volleyball, biking, gym, hiking, board games with friends and snowboard during the winter season. And during the time the weather is undecided between cold and heat, I take a few hours a week to study something engineering related.
I'd go for "10 ways to find out what things are really important", I always had trouble deciding what to do in my spare time given so many opportunities.
Though it might sound overused, I'd still say the people. When having so many people around with unique and vivid life experience, you'll never know where a conversation will end up - to be honest I'm amazed how so many colours managed to blend in harmony.
The hooby one
It's the same! While at work, I still feel like hanging out and getting stuff done with friends. There was no need to change anything about that
The first big one I've attended was split in 2 days - one for Muse and one for Iron Maiden. Both of them were awesome, but I can't really pick one to be better than the other. Muse went for hypnotizing visual effects that blended in perfectly with the music, while Iron Maiden made you feel like you were getting to see a play in addition to a concert, using props, costumes, and a really active scene.
We’re delighted that Codrin decided to join Strongbytes – it’s been great having them on board! If you have any questions or want to get to know Codrin or one of their colleagues from the Strongbytes team, we can put you in touch. Don’t hesitate to reach out!
