Why did you join STRONGBYTES, and what has kept you here?

I joined Strongbytes because I wanted to trade the "big corporations" world for a small company. One of the best decisions I've ever made. I have a much clearer visibility over the company's goals and direction, I feel that my opinion matters and that I can actually have an impact on the company's path.

What do you find to be the most exciting aspect of STRONGBYTES?

The most exciting aspect of Strongbytes is definitely its people. The culture here is amazing - initiated by the leadership, but also supported and energized by the employees. It's not enough for you to have great technical skills to work here, you need to also have the right attitude.

What drew you to the data department? Have you always worked in Data Specialist roles?

I was always drawn to the data world. You can almost do magic when working with numbers. Therefore, my experience evolved around working with data - performing ETL, running reports, extracting insights, building dashboards and predictions.

Still, being a Data Specialist is not only about coding and doing calculations, it's also about communication with business people. A lot of communication. You need to understand what needs to be solved, and you can only do this by asking many questions.

The nice part about this role is the fact that you can sometimes solve problems that stakeholders don't even realize they have :)

What are 3 words to describe STRONGBYTES?

3 words to describe Strongbytes would be: flexible (both in terms of adapting to client's and employees' needs), smart, fun.

What advice do you have for prospective STRONGBYTES candidates?

My advice would be to never stop learning. The IT world changes constantly, and you can only keep up if being exposed to new information/ideas/technologies.

If you were an animal what would you be?

I would definitely like to be a cat. What a nice life would it be to just sleep, eat, and... purr :)
