Making human connections is part of the Pangea.ai brand DNA; the soul of our brand being our tech partners. We are very proud to have Pseudocode as part of our community, whose unique individuals inspire and empower the rest of our teams.

Time to meet the full-stack developer at Pseudocode, Toni!

How did you first learn about Pseudocode?

A friend reccomended me Pseudocode. I liked everything he told me about the company. I immediately reached out to the owners to see if there are open positions and that is a decision that has been proven as a good one as soon as I switched over to Pseudocode.

I find personal recommendations as the best way to reach out to potential new hires.

Why did you join Pseudocode, and what has kept you here?

I was unhappy at my previous job and the information about work in Pseudocode attracted me right away. The dynamic atmosphere, friendly and informal communication and interesting positions that provide opportunities for professional growth kept me at Pseudocode. Constantly improving work conditions and benefits also helped :)

How has Pseudocode helped you in your career development?

A wide range of technologies are used in the company and we are encouraged to learn new things. I learned a couple of new technologies while working in Pseudocode which has definitely helped with my career.

If I have any questions about something new I am working on, my colleagues with experience are always ready to help.

If you could only drink one beer for the rest of your life, what would it be?

The type of beer of my choice is any type of IPA. I adore bitterness in beer. Most people are accustomed to the commercial lagers but that is simply not good enough for me. There is never enough bitterness if you ask me :-).

The rich aromas and thick bodies from a good IPA never stop impressing me.

At work

Do you have any hobbies, go-to weekend activities, or long-term passion projects you’re working on?

I have always been interested in creative work that includes building something or improving something. When I was a kid I would take things apart to see how are they built. The problem was then that I often would not know how to put them together :-).

Now that does not happen anymore and it is a great joy to see an idea come to life as it was imagined.

How do you define success in life?

I think it is important to achieve goals that are purely our own. Some goals are given to us by society and achieving them does not have to give us happiness.

Money is of course important, but should not be the main motivator. We should have enough money to pursue the goals that we have set for ourselves and truly make us happy and not overwork ourselves in the process :-).
