Ema's developer stories
The soul of Pangea.ai’s brand is making human connections. Our tech partners continue to build and strengthen our community’s DNA. We are very proud to have Nignite as part of our circle, whose unique individuals now inspire and empower all of our team members.
Time to meet the Front-end developer at Nignite, Ema!
How has Nignite helped you in your career development?
This is the first company where I was officially employed while I was still a student. The company helped me a lot in my career development. First of all, I gained a lot of practical knowledge that I needed after finishing my studies. For the first time, I had the opportunity to work on a huge project in a team.
What do you like most about Nignite?
I like the projects we work on, then working with mentors from whom we can learn a lot. In addition, one of the most important factors that made me decide to work in the company is the people in the company.
Any success is possible if you are surrounded by people who support and accept new members quickly.
What advice do you have for prospective Nignite candidates?
I have recommended this company to many of my friends who have completed their studies and they are my colleagues now. Working with mentors, you will learn a lot. No matter how complex the projects are, you will gain confidence in yourself that every problem is solvable, so candidates should not be afraid to apply.
Do you have any hobbies, go-to weekend activities, or long-term passion projects you’re working on?
I have to admit that since I got a job in the company, I have become better at organizing my time. I started doing sports and hiking. I like traveling and organizing short two-day trips every weekend. Also, I like going to the cottage in the countryside, doing gardening and enjoying nice nature there.

Top three life highlights?
The first is graduating from university.
Another is student exchange in Spain. It was the best year of my life. I made many friends, learned the language, and live alone without my parents for the first time. I liked their culture and way of life and would like to visit that place again. The third would be my first job, and that is in this company.
What did you want to be when growing up?
When I was little, I was changing my decisions about what I wanted to become when I grew up. I wanted to be a teacher, then a policewoman.
After going to my aunt's graduation for the first time, I wanted to become a professor of history at the university. In high school, I loved mathematics the most, and that's how the idea of becoming a software engineer was born.
