A few words about Merixstudio - partnership perspective
Partnership, trust, creativity, passion and growth - these are the values that are behind everything we do. The atmosphere is one of the key factors for Merixstudio; it’s more than just a regular workplace, it’s a place where we pursue passions, share knowledge, and grow on many levels.
Time to meet the Event & Partnership Specialist at Merixstudio, Giovanni!
How do you spend your time outside of the office?
I'm a huge startup enthusiast!
That's why my team and I run a small startup called art dealers where we help to buy and sell art via our marketplace. I always loved to create unique art so why not help others and myself to market it right?
Apart from that, I'm also a big fan of NFT's. In the meantime, I research and create digital art, so maybe one day I could contribute to other ecosystems and communities in that niche.

Why did you join Merixstudio, and what has kept you here?
I love to talk about this. I actually was employed back then and someone from Merixstudio reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in creating a brand new role.
I joined the call and was absolutely impressed with Piotr - my first team leader in Merix. The guidance was brilliant, the ideas and plans were totally aligned so there was no other way - I joined immediately.
The reason I'm super super excited to keep working is simple.
From the beginning of my journey, I was trusted, given autonomy and tools to execute my strategy. No one ever did that for me, so I'm extremely grateful to the team and company till today.
What are your primary responsibilities and what does your day-to-day look like?
The one area that I was always really good at no matter where was networking. From a young age, I found it natural to establish new relationships and exchange experiences. At one point I wanted to add a mission to it. Help others.
In Merix I do precisely that. Thanks to the opportunities during various international events I promote our partnership programme, which rewards our partners for recommending us to our potential clients. Along with that, I keep up with the newest trends by attending tech sessions.
My day to day work differs. I usually have plenty of calls with new partners, existing ones and plan my activities on events. So I could say I work for our external ecosystem to keep it up and running.
How do you define success in life?
I define it by personal accomplishments.
I look at it that way: everyone has a unique and complex way of perceiving their qualities, goals and criteria of success. I believe that by listening to each person our own description of success continues to evolve and expand.
Also, it gives a wider range of understanding of what can be perceived as success and whatnot. It's a great practice, I highly recommend trying it!

What is the favourite part about working for Merixstudio?
People. Throughout my journey in Merixstudio, I had the possibility to chat, connect and discuss my ideas and plans with other Merixsans along the way.
Our sales department is what put me on the map, our growth team was the shining polar star that guided me, our management gave me the confidence and support and our P&C provided me with resources. When I think about it - this is the unique trait of Merixstudio - openness.
What's your motto or personal mantra?
By empowering others, you empower yourself.
This kept me going in the good or bad times. No matter what was going on in my life, I never forgot my purpose and I knew that it takes always a group of people to achieve big things.
