Some Q&A with Dimitar
The soul of Pangea.ai’s brand is making human connections. Our tech partners continue to build and strengthen our community’s DNA. We are very proud to have Looming Tech as part of our circle, whose unique individuals now inspire and empower all of our team members.
Time to meet the Senior back-end developer at Looming Tech, Dimitar!
What do you like most about Looming Tech?
The positive attitude of people and the variety of projects.
My daily communication in and out of the office with the colleagues is a lot of fun and when needing help everyone is super helpful.
And the projects are quite interesting and challenging. I am constantly improving my skills and tech stack.

How has Looming Tech helped you in your career development?
Stef and Dave have always been supportive, friendly and open for communication. In between our funny stories and silly jokes their feedback and guiding has helped me a lot in my professional path. It is quite pleasing to be working with someone that experienced and kind.
Also, when looking back over the past year I must say that I have gained a lot of knowledge and know-hows on the projects I have been mostly challenged.
What has been your favorite project at Looming Tech?
I must say 'Run Grateful'!
It is an amazing project with the noble idea of doing your healthy activities and share what you have been grateful with the world!
Everyone on the project was so enthusiastic and motivated about working on in that we have released the application to production in less than 6 months!
How do you spend your time outside of the office?
During the week I work out at the gym. Occasionally it could happen with a couple of friends after work to be grabbing a beer or two.
On the weekends if the weather is nice I like to wander around the country, preferably at places I have never been. But I also don't mind just chilling on the couch doing a movie marathon.

What's your favorite line from a movie?
This one from The Office:
“Jim is my enemy. But it turns out that Jim is also his own worst enemy. And the enemy of my enemy is my friend. So Jim, is actually my friend. But, because he is his own worst enemy, the enemy of my friend is my enemy so actually Jim is my enemy.” – Dwight Schrute (Season 6, Koi Pond)
If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Definitely pizza. It is still pretty good when it is cold, even from yesterday. And you could experiment with the toppings and never get bored. There are so many variaties one could have hard time choosing.
My personal favorite is quattro formaggi. So I think it is a good backup for the next couple of years
