What is the first concert you attended?

The memory of my first concert experience still sends chills down my spine. It was as if the whole world was on pause, waiting for Bon Jovi to take the stage and ignite the night with their iconic sound. And when they did, I was swept away by a tidal wave of euphoria that drowned out everything else. The music was more than just a sound; it was a living, breathing entity that pulsated through my body and left me in a state of pure bliss. I found myself lost in a sea of strangers, yet united by the shared love for the electrifying performance unfolding before us. As the night drew to a close, I knew that I had just experienced something truly special, something that would stay with me forever. That first concert was not just a moment in time, but a magical journey that opened the door to a world of limitless possibilities.

What is the best vacation you’ve been to?

"Paris, the City of Light, was a dream destination that had always beckoned to my wanderlust. And when I finally stepped foot in this enchanting metropolis, I was spellbound by its elegance, charm, and sheer beauty. The city's boulevards were lined with stunning architecture, from the Gothic grandeur of Notre-Dame to the iconic Eiffel Tower that pierced the sky. I spent my days exploring the winding streets and quaint neighborhoods, savoring the delicious cuisine and sipping on the finest wine. But it was at night that Paris truly came alive, as the city lit up with a dazzling array of lights, music, and magic. From the bohemian vibe of Montmartre to the chic glamour of the Champs-Élysées, Paris exuded an aura of romance and sophistication that left me breathless. As I bid farewell to this unforgettable city, I knew that my love affair with Paris would last a lifetime, a treasure trove of memories that I would always cherish.

If you were an animal what would you be?

Being a bird would be pretty sweet, not gonna lie. Just imagine spreading your wings and taking off, feeling the wind rushing past you as you rise higher and higher into the endless blue skies. You'd have the ultimate bird's eye view of the world, seeing everything from a perspective that no human could ever match. You'd be able to soar over mountains, skim across oceans, and explore every nook and cranny of the planet with ease. And the best part? You'd be totally free, with no worries or responsibilities holding you down. You could just fly wherever the winds take you, living life on your own terms. Yep, being a bird would be the ultimate adventure, and I'm all for it!

What is your proudest moment at Lloyds digital?

The opening ceremony of the Digital Labin conference was the pinnacle of my career so far. It was a culmination of months of tireless effort and collaboration, with every member of our team playing an essential role in making it a success. When I walked into the conference room and saw more than 600 people eagerly waiting for the event to begin, my heart swelled with pride. The energy in the room was electric, and I knew we had created something truly special. The speakers we had assembled were top-notch, with each one delivering insightful and thought-provoking presentations that had the audience fully engaged. The atmosphere was nothing short of electric, with lively conversations and enthusiastic networking taking place at every turn. And the feeling of accomplishment we all shared after the event was truly gratifying. It was a moment where we knew we had truly made an impact in the industry, and had created a space for knowledge sharing and collaboration that would have ripple effects for years to come. Looking back on that opening ceremony, I can honestly say it was a defining moment in my professional journey, and one that I will always cherish

What did you want to be when growing up?

Being a journalist was always my dream growing up, and I can still remember the thrill I felt when I landed my first writing gig. There's just something about chasing down a story, uncovering the truth, and sharing it with the world that gets my blood pumping. I loved the idea of being on the front lines of the action, getting the inside scoop, and asking the tough questions that no one else would dare to. And let's not forget the adrenaline rush that comes with meeting tight deadlines and juggling multiple assignments at once. It's a demanding profession, no doubt about it, but there's a sense of satisfaction that comes from seeing your byline in print or online and knowing that you're making a difference in the world. Whether it's exposing corruption, shedding light on important issues, or simply telling someone's story, journalism has the power to inform, educate, and inspire. And even though my career has taken me in a different direction, I still carry that passion for writing and storytelling with me wherever I go.

Do you have an office nickname? What is it?

Well, my colleagues know me as 'Valentinam' - and no, it's not because I have a secret alter ego or anything like that. The truth is, there's another Valentina in the office, and we happen to share the same name. And let me tell you, it can get pretty confusing at times. We've had our fair share of mix-ups, with people accidentally sending emails or Slack messages to the wrong Valentina. So to avoid any more confusion, someone came up with the genius idea of adding an 'm' to the end of my name. It might not be the most creative nickname out there, but it gets the job done. And hey, it's a lot better than being called 'the other Valentina' or something like that. Plus, it's a great icebreaker when meeting new people - I can always say, 'just call me Valentinam, the one with the extra letter.
