Everybody likes the catchphrase “challenge accepted”, but we like “challenge completed” better! With the right people, any goal can be achieved. And by right people we mean those who aren’t afraid of different perspectives. That’s what our team is. Today when everyone claims they’re thinking outside the box, it is our belief there is no box. There are no boundaries when talking about creativity and ideas. We choose to believe in all of the great possibilities that our clients want to accomplish. Only then anything is possible and only a team that isn't afraid of the unknown can create a product that will stand the test of time.

Time to meet the Project Manager at Kodius, Diana!

Can you tell us a little more about yourself?

Hi! Diana. I'm from a small town in Slavonia near Papuk. I am a person who seems to have two professions, that is both a benefit and a hinder at times. I am a big fan of researching and thinking critically because I genuinely think that the project's problem is the finest brief for the project's further progress. I ended up as a project manager by chance. But organizing the Ferragosto Jam festival with my team, which now has 15,000 visitors and started from scratch, was the most beneficial.

I do boxing, running, and drawing in my spare time, even though drawing causes me a lot of stress because I try so hard to control my mistakes, which is exactly what drawing isn't, haha.

Diana, our Project Manager in her office environment

What are your primary responsibilities and what does your day-to-day look like?

I work as a project manager on the development of blockchain-based online card games. Despite my vibrantly colored background, I can say that this was one of the most challenging projects I have worked on. However, given that the last time I encountered gaming was when I played Sonic on Sega, this project was undeniably one of the best teachers. Also, I viewed blockchain as a theory rather than a practice.

How did you solve that problem?

I ended up getting addicted to computer games, haha. I began playing CS, Dota, LOR, Magic, and Hearthstone and forced myself to play all card games of potential competition in order to understand the process. I also began actively following blockchain, NFT, and cryptocurrency content. I've even started investing in cryptocurrencies (But students from my team have a lot more success with those investments, haha).

Besides that, every decision made by my team is based on careful research. For example, why some features are highly regarded and others are not.

What was the most unusual job you've ever had before Kodius?

Undoubtedly, student work as a TV reporter. I'm still not sure why I got the job, but I do know it was to help me strengthen my presentation skills, which used to be quite terrifying, haha.

Diana's greatest interest is traveling

Interesting accomplishments that you want to share with others or that you believe others would be interested in?

I have two master's degrees and one baccalaureate degree. I studied at two faculties in two cities simultaneously while working as a student. It's still unclear how I did it, but I owe it to my parents, who drove me from one exam in one city to another in another. =)

Do you have any hobbies, weekend activities, or long-term passion projects that you work on?

Art, vinyl collecting, photography, and drawing are some of my interests.  I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm a big sneaker addict, but I'm fascinated by the history of the sneaker scene. My father, as well as my previous job as a marketing manager in the sneaker industry, influenced this.
