The soul of Pangea.ai’s brand is making human connections. Our tech partners continue to build and strengthen our community’s DNA. We are very proud to have Kamino as part of our circle, whose unique individuals now inspire and empower all of our team members.

Time to meet the Team Lead at Kamino, Tine!

Why did you join Kamino, and what has kept you here?

I'm at Kamino since day 1.

Company culture is the reason I'm here, along with cool coworkers and great working/learning environment.

Office life

In your opinion, what are the hallmark traits of a great Team Lead?

I believe integrity and empathy (emotional intelligence) top the list, closely followed by technical expertise, good communication and organization/facilitation skills.

What drew you to engineering? Have you always worked in development roles?

I got interested in mobile development during my studies. Consequently, I landed a few student jobs and eventually came to Kamino (as a developer), where I naturally progressed to team lead.

What's your favorite line from a movie?

"Don't hit me with them negative waves so early in the morning." – Oddball (Kelly's heroes, 1970).

Mountain life

How has Kamino helped you in your career development?

I had great mentorship here when I started.

In general, it's a very positive learning environment where knowledge is shared and you can always learn from others. We also do internal workshops to gain and share knowledge.

What are your primary responsibilities and what does your day-to-day look like?

My responsibilities are:

  • Development, technical planning & researching.
  • Close collaboration with project managers, clients and other stakeholders.
  • Performing technical interviews for hiring.
  • Mentoring team members.
  • Team leadership in general.

This is also how my day-to-day looks like. A mix of these. :)
