Time to meet the Head of Marketing & Growth at Hicron, Paweł!
Why did you join Hicron, and what has kept you here?
I've joined Hicron and its Software House unit because of the experience and stability of the company. I knew that having the opportunity to co-create a whole new marketing strategy for the custom software development department could be another exciting stage in my personal development. I'm learning new things about the industry and the company on a daily basis; that's why I enjoy this journey so much. I also have a great group of people around me, so there are many incredibly talented to learn from.

What are your primary responsibilities and what does your day-to-day look like?
I'm responsible for the co-creation of the marketing & growth strategy at Hicron Software House, that's why at the beginning of my journey here, there was a need for a totally reinvented approach when it comes to the domestic market, communication, SEO and lead generation. One of the results of it is a reinvention of Hicron Software House as a separate brand.
I work closely with the sales department to receive feedback directly from potential clients about their pain points and solutions to provide an answer to these issues. Marketing wise, I try to address these answers with the use of valuable content, shared on our social media channels and the blog.
In your opinion, what are the hallmark traits of a great Head of Marketing and Growth?
First of all, try to make decisions based on data instead of gut feeling. Secondly, you need to be a remarkable team player, talk with your crew and effectively plan the work. Listen to the feedback within your company to improve yourself as a manager and help your teammates reach their goals. Finally, find an effective way to give the value to the audience you want to go for, instead of just bragging about how your company is great. No one cares, really.
How do you define success in life?
Be happy, simple as that. Don't waste your time and energy on things and people that are not worth it. Find the right environment for yourself to constantly develop yourself into a better specialist, better solution provider and what's the most important; a better human being. Success is not about the money; it's more about how you feel when you wake up in the morning.
Acting goofy during holidays is my more natural habit
What do you like most about Hicron?
My favourite thing about Hicron Software House is the people. We honestly communicate with ourselves without any formal filters. If there is something to improve, we are keen to address this as soon as possible, but in a fair, respectful way. People here are super enthusiastic and eager to help, and with the tremendous experience that many workers have here, this is an excellent environment for personal development.
What is your proudest moment at Hicron?
I'm pretty convinced that this moment is still yet to happen. But if I'm forced to choose anything from my few month's experience here, I'm sure that every time I provide insightful data that changes the way of thinking within the organisation, I'm happy for myself.
