What do you find the most challenging at ASD?

For me, the most challenging thing was to instruct other candidates or interns the specifics of the project and to teach them the complex business logic. This was very responsible, because it depends not only on the productivity of the team or deadline of tasks, but also to some extent the future of interns in their careers.

What have you gained from working at ASD?

I grew up as a developer and learned huge stack of new technologies. Also, I learned to take responsibility, to manage team work and how to inspire a team-members.

I also met very talented people who have a lot of experience and inspiration and with whom I am always learning something new.

What has been your favorite project at Advanced Software Development?

My favorite project at Advanced Software Development company is BookingPal. This project is huge and consists of many modules and libraries with Spring framework usage, Redis, MyBatis, Kafka, Elastic, Cassandra, AWS. Many of these technologies were ones that I had no prior experience using. Needless to say, I learned a lot, and working on a variety of tasks exposed me to different parts of the tech stack.

What advice do you have for prospective ASD candidates?

My advice, it's the first thing I always say to each intern: do not be afraid to ask team-members for advice. We have a friendly team to work with and a difficult project to learn and team cooperation is the main skill you should have.
